1. Introduction

China Government Scholarship Council has established “CSC Excellent International Student Scholarship” to subsidize international students with excellent performance.

①Fixed Quota for CUPB: two current bachelor/master/Ph.D students who are studying in the second year or above for full-time education(not under CSC scholarship now). 

Awards: Certificate and One-off Scholarship:

RMB 18000 Yuan for bachelor students,

RMB 30000 Yuan for master/Ph.D students.

 

②Open Quota for CUPB: three current bachelor/master/Ph.D students who are studying in the second year or above for full-time education(must be under CSC scholarship). 

Awards: Certificate only, no money. 

 

The 3 candidates will compete with all candidates in China(total 100). The final result depends on your documents and performance.

 

2. Requirements

①Friendly attitude towards China, excellent performance in China.

②Abiding by Chinese laws and university regulations. Mentally and psychologically healthy. Fully developed.

③Excellent academic performance. GPA≥3.5 for Bachelor students, Average points≥85 for master and Ph.D students.

④Priority to students with higher level of Chinese language.

⑤Priority to students with family financial difficulties if equal in status.

⑥Actively participating activities or social practices. Contribute greatly to communicating Chinese traditional culture or strengthening international cultural exchange. Contribute greatly to public welfare.

② Prepare Paper Materials

2.1---Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form (Printed online);

2.2--- Tran

2.3 ----Recommendation Letter provided by your supervisor(for master and Ph.D students)/ one teacher(for Bachelor students)/;

2.4--- Composition en d “My Story in China”( s unlimited) in no fewer than 800 characters/words. Content should focus on experience and feelings in studying and living in China. Written in Chinese or in English.

2.5---PPT(Personal Statement including studying behavior, academic achievement, awards, participation of university activities and social practices, overall performance in China, etc.);

2.6---Index certificate, acceptance certificate of journals(other papers cannot be accepted as support materials), or certificate of joint publication;

2.7---Awards or patents in national or provincial competitions;

2.8---Certificates of serving as student cadre or association leader;

2.9---Other certificates from university with stamp of relative offices in charge.

2.10---Other support materials.

 

4. Procedures of Selection

①Before October 21, 10:00AM, applicants should submit documents online and paper materials to office 207.

② October 22-October 25, College of International Education will review the documents and arrange the presentation defence.

③College of International Education will send the application documents to CSC.
