On the 15th of March 2019 marked by a meeting between ISAIP (International student’s academic innovation platform) and AAPG (American Association of Petroleum Geologists) student chapter. The main  ive of the meeting was to create a   between the two platforms with a view to possible cooperation very soon. Present at the meeting were the Vice dean of the College of International Education of China University of Petroleum - Beijing Liu Xiao Qing, ISAIP patrons Liangyu Shi and Zhu Xiaosong, as well as the AAPG advisor Fei Weiwei and other members of both committees.

The event began at 5:30 pm, where each member made a brief self-introduction and later the introduction of both platforms was done regarding their structure, mission, vision, strategy, events, plans futures and others. 

The meeting equally characterized by moments of much dialogue among members,and ended with the intervention of Vice dean Liu Xiao Qing, in which she addressed her compliments to AAPG and took the opportunity to invite them to join in ISAIP committee as well as to meet room 107 “The Hub”.
