Program Introduction

The Chemical Engineering and Technology major is one of the earliest majors of China University of Petroleum, established in 1953 on the basis of the Petroleum Engineering major of the Department of Chemical Engineering of Tsinghua University. This major is a specialty major of the Ministry of Education and Beijing, and a pilot major of the Ministry of Education’s comprehensive professional reform. It is also the first major in the school to pass the China Engineering Education Professional Certification. In 2019, it became the first batch of national first-class undergraduate major construction sites and a key first-class major in Beijing universities.

Requirements

Application Requirements:
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, no more than 25 years old, in good health, and have no criminal record.
2. Have a high school diploma，GPA≧3.0/5.0
3. Chinese taught programs: HSK 4 ( 180 or above )
HSK4≥222 (for Bachelor Program Scholarship Application)
English taught programs: IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL≥75 or TOEFL Essentials≥8, (DI Code: C806) for non-native speakers of English.
A certificate which can prove you have been taught in English during your previous study for more than two years.
4. Applicants must be under the age of 25 when applying
5.Participate in the China Scholastic Competency Assessment（CSCA）examination and achieve the corresponding score.（www.csca.cn）

2. Notarized copies of your highest level degree certificates and transcripts
3. Non-criminal record
4. Physical Examination Form ( with all laboratory and X-ray reports ) taken not more than six months prior to admission
